Who are you?

I have lived in Toronto my entire life, and wouldn't dream of living elsewhere. I have been interested in the processes of how to get things done in the City forever. I believe that every single person in the City counts, and can make a difference. The people that live in Toronto are the people who know what the great and not so great things are about the city. What a marvelous resource to tap into. I am prepared to listen and act where appropriate.


Why are you running?

I am interested in running for City Idol, because I feel that I can make a difference in the lives of Torontonians. I believe that a Toronto City Councillor should be accessible to all, with a true open door policy. It's time to take the bureaucracy out of City hall, and allow the people the opportunity to feel truly represented. Everyone has a voice, and I intend to listen. I do not shy away from sensitive topics, and I think that my wry sense of humour would serve me well in dealing with many different people. I look forward to the competition, and the campaign to follow.
