Who are you?

I'm a man with a dream who likes long walks on the beach and sharing my feelings - oops I guess reading all the profiles on here put me in a dreamy, sweet as syrup kind of state. I'm a journalism grad, currently working for a not-for-profit public advocacy group, I canvassed for Gord Perks in the recent federal election and before that I was teaching/trekking across the ancient treasure trove that is Peru.

I'll bridge the various levels of government while focusing on the city's long-neglected waterfront. Originally a suburban boy, with time spent working and living across the 905, I believe Toronto needs a leader who understand the entire GTA in order to make the region competitive and balanced.


Why are you running?

I want to prove that you don't have to be the son of a prime minister to be anyone's idol - and because unlike the perfectly coifed CTV pretty boy, I actually have something to say instead of empty, vapid, ass-kissing questions.


What should a City Councillor be?

City councillors should be individuals with integrity, vision and an ability to maintain focus through the long-winded, mundane council debates. Vision, clarity and accountability would all be nice traits to possess, but let's not start dreaming again.
