Candidate: Arthur Roszak

Who are you?
I am 29 years old professional living in Etobicoke. I graduated from University of Toronto with Hon.B.A., where I also ran for Varsity Blues as a track athlete, and later acquired my MBA in Marketing from University of Windsor.

Currently, I am working as a Business Development Manager. However, I do possess lot of social and recreational work experience. I had worked for Metro Toronto Housing for several years in many communities around the city including Jamestown, East Mall, and Mornell in Scarborough. Through my work and daily experiences of living in Toronto, I have met many wonderful people, and at the same time, have gained direct knowledge of different needs that our communities are facing. Furthermore, I have worked as the Team Leader for the Road And Trail Safety Ambassador program at the Etobicoke Civic Centre six years ago. All the above fabulous work experiences taught me a lot and allowed me to learn more about operational processes of the City of Toronto.

I am a very enthusiastic, responsible, and driven person who enjoys participating in recreational activities. Furthermore, I love eating world-wide cuisines that are available in our great city.

Why are you running?

I am running because I would like to dedicate my skills, educational background, and community work experience to the residents of my future Ward. I have always enjoyed working with different organizations, communities, and most importantly people living in these communities around the city of Toronto.

What should a City Councillor be?

A City Councillor should be a strong believer in Public Service who does more than his or her job responsibilities and does it cheerfully.

Anything else?

The City Idol is a great idea! I would definitely enjoy being a member of the City Idol team.

We need new leaders.
