Who are you? Antoine Tedesco, Senior Editor of Toronto news and culture mage-zine SceneandHeard.ca

Why are you running? I think the city needs someone who feels comfortable speaking to all Torontonians about the many issues facing this city and its diverse population. Someone who will actually sit down with the homeless and have a conversation rather than merely use the person as a photo op.

What should a City Councillor be? A City Councillor should not only represent the people in their riding but should also be someone who is willing to take chances, piss people off when they need to be ripped a new hole. Sometimes one has to be cruel to be kind. And let me tell you, I've been known to rip a few new holes in my day.

Anything else? I like long walks, good music, great food, theatre and time with friends and family. If I can get all those in one day, I'm the happiest guy in the world.

We need new leaders.
