Candidate: Angela Jonsson

Who are you?

I am your neighbour, your sister, your friend. These are the people that have the most influence on you and that usually listen to what is bothering you---I am that person. People in Toronto walk up to me every single day and tell me their problems and not only do they expect that I will listen but they know that I would help them. You want a councillor like me because I've got your back--I`m Angela Jonsson and I care about you and this great city we share.


Why are you running?

I`m running for City Idol because I think that for far too long people have been sitting in the offices of city hall and not doing as much as they can. My office would be different. People would want to come to meet with me because they would know that I am a solution oriented person. If I find a way that I can make something better, more efficient or more accessible to all I would do it! This city hall needs less talk and more action!


What should a City Councillor be?

A city councillor should to be open and accountable to ALL Torontonians.

I currently reside in the beautiful Annex neighbourhood of Toronto. I have a background in Political Science and communications and I have the know how to...help city hall.
